Overlooking the village pond and heath of Walton-on-the-Hill, The Blue Ball sits at the heart of this picturesque Surrey village and has done for generations.

Situated on the edge of the Surrey Hills, The Blue Ball is within easy reach of the Epsom Downs Racecourse, home of the Investec Derby Festival, and surrounded by some of Surrey’s most prestigious golf courses.

The Blue Ball re-opened in May 2021 under new ownership. Whilst the faces may have changed, you can still expect the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that the pub has always been known for. We’ve refreshed the decor with a rustic and relaxed style, that oozes character and charm to create a space that you’ll love to while away the hours in.

Inside you can dine in our large and spacious dining room, or grab a bite in the bar as you see fit; four-legged friends are welcome here too. Plus, bask on our ample terrace or garden for sundowner drinks and alfresco dining, or cosy up in one of our outdoor thatched huts, complete with their own heaters.

Open all day, every day, the menu at The Blue Ball will feature all your favourite pub classics and legendary Sunday roasts, alongside more fine dining options and an extended grill section. Taking advantage of the local area’s abundance of great suppliers, the seasonally inspired menu with be bursting with freshly prepared dishes and seasonal specials guaranteed to tempt you.
